The Black Adam of The Rock won a new trailer this Thursday (9), in which the film’s plot begins to draw better, and the DC anti-hero reveals he doesn’t kneel in front of anyone.
Running over two and a half minutes, the new trailer for the movie “Black Adam” shows more details on what Dwayne Johnson’s character will face in the story. Among these challenges are the heroes of the Justice Society, who embark on a mission to stop and stabilize the threat that becomes Black Adam.
In the trailer, we see Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate using his powers for the first time and Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, which is featured in the video. Another well-known character is Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis and known for “The Suicide Squad” and “Peacemaker”, who appears at a moment in the trailer.
Additionally, a figure appears in the trailer who appears to be the supervillain Sabbac (Marwan Kenzari), a Russian mafia boss who possesses the power of an ancient demon, and it is possible that he is the force to alter Black Adam’s trajectory.
In addition to focusing on these characters, the trailer shows Black Adam’s personality and the dangers he poses to the world, making it clear once again that he has the power to save or destroy him. Another point is the mood of the character of The Rock, who does not feel worthy of his powers and says that “I am not a gift, but a curse, born of anger”. Also, he says not to kneel in front of anyone.
“Black Adam” is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and hits Brazilian theaters on October 20, 2022.
