ATTENTION, SPOILERS TO FOLLOW. READ ONLY AFTER SEEING EPISODE 3 OF THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER.
To give is the title of episode 3 from the series of First video and, immediately, is mentioned by the orcs who took Arrondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova). The elf, along with others, is working hard to excavate the earth. But only towards the end will we learn more about the mysterious figure who is a leader for the orcs. In other words, it’s not a good thing.
Meanwhile, we learn that Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and Halbrand (Charlie Vickers) have been rescued by Elendil (Lloyd Owen), in command of a ship from Númenor, a majestic island kingdom you would like to live in. Too bad it’s only in the realm of fantasy.
Galadriel arrives with a certain arrogance, believing that the Numenoreans owe the land they now inhabit to the elves. Queen Regent Míriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) doesn’t think so. So Galadriel does not understand why the Numenoreans stopped welcoming the Elves long ago.

Galadriel’s presence at court is not well regarded and the queen regent is clearly hostile, but is persuaded by the calm Halbrand to wait a few days before acting. Galadriel obviously does not behave well and is caught red-handed by Elendil who tries to steal a boat. He takes her to a library, where Galadriel learns more about Sauron’s plans. He also learns that Halbrand is not who he thought he was and believes their meeting was no mere accident.
Returning to poor Arondir, the scene of the riot, involving chains and a warg, is electrifying. Arrondir ends up being taken to the episode title Adar, but you can only see the silhouette of the long-haired character. By the way, for those who still believe there are no dark elves, Ismael Cruz Córdova is charismatic and is expected to gain space in the next few episodes.
In the Hairyfoot community, Nori (Markella Kavenagh) and her family suffer the consequences of her secret. So far, the Hairyfoot scenes are quite different from the others in the series. The Rings of Power spend time with them, show them their rituals, their worldview, without worrying too much about the plot. Apart from the dwarves, few have had this privilege. It would be nice if there was a little more desire to get to know other regions and peoples with the same calm, because they are the best of the three episodes shown.
