Thunderbolts: Marvel’s Suicide Squad finds its team with the surprise return of a fan-favorite hero

Thunderbolts, due in theaters on July 24, 2024, has found its team of anti-heroes! Marvel has announced the full cast as part of D23.

Marvel Studios took advantage of the D23 event to announce the cast of Thunderbolts, a Suicide Squad-style super-villain movie.

As many suspected given the characters set in Phase IV of the MCU, a feature film bringing together several supervillains and anti-heroes will see the light of day. And it was entrusted to Jake Schreier, director of Robot and Frank, The Hidden Face of Margo and Kidding series.

Written by Eric Pearson (Black Widow), the film is set to shoot next summer with a prestigious cast! Marvel has announced the full team, led by new Black Widow Florence Pooh.

He will be supported by David Harbor (Red Guard), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster) and especially Sebastian Stan, aka Bucky. Barnes, The Winter Soldier!

Note that Ghost was the main antagonist of Ant-Man and the Wasp. The Red Guardian appeared in Black Widow and John Walker in the Falcon and Winter Soldier series, as did Valentina.

Bucky Barnes, the superhero of Marvel fans, was expected to appear in Captain America 4. He will finally be part of Maison des Idées’ Suicide Squad! Something to make MCU fans happy!

For many fans, the project has been on the way since Julia Louis-Dreyfus appeared in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Indeed, her character Valentina Allegra de Fontaine has been described as the evil equivalent of Nick Fury.

Thunderbolts hits theaters July 24, 2024!
