When will the next movie in the Transformers saga come out?

With five films in less than a decade, all directed by Michael Bay, the Transformers saga has been a regular fixture in the traditional Hollywood blockbuster summer of which he was one of the leads. Until the last opus “The Last Knight”, where his director’s outfit was felt even more than before.

Disappointing at the box office ($605 million worldwide, where the previous two crossed the billion mark), therefore, supported his move to other horizons and prompted the producers to rethink the franchise… in the past. Although it had just finished filming and was therefore on time, its release was pushed back to June 7, 2023 in France and two days later in the United States.

What will be talked about?

Just as Bumblebee took us back to the 80s, Rise of The Beasts takes us into the heart of the next decade. And in the four corners of the world, with this adventure that makes us discover, for the first time on the big screen, the vehicles of the animated series Beast Wars (Animutants en VF). Namely, the Maximals, Predacons, and other Terrorcons who will join the eternal battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons.

Going from boxing fights in The Rocky Saga to robot battles in Transformers, this is the life Stephen Keple Jr. has chosen to lead. After Creed II, the American director offers himself another franchise spin-off, where the most spectacular scenes are born mainly during post-production, thanks to the magic of special effects. Who plays in it?

Because the Transformers saga isn’t all about Earth-smacking machines, Rises of the Beasts will also have some flesh and blood. Come out Shia LaBeouf, Mark Wahlberg, Megan Fox or even Hailee Steinfeld, the heroine of Bumblebee (unless there’s a surprise cameo), because the casting will be completely new. Except for Peter Cullen, who will once again provide the voice of Optimus Prime in VO, providing continuity with the rest of the franchise.

Hamilton revealed and seen in 2021 Where We Come From, Anthony Ramos will be Noah, one of the heroes of this new film. The nature of his character has yet to be revealed, but there’s no doubt that his experience on Godzilla II: King of the Monsters will serve him well in this new Transformers installment. Dominique Fishback will play a certain Elena next to her. And it will be the biggest project to date for the actor, who has been seen in The Hate U Give, Judas and the Black Messiah or Project Power.

But the biggest name in this cast will be just for the vote. And what a voice! As it would be the impressive Ron Perlman, who chose to double as a vehicle called Optimus Primal, a Transformer that has the appearance of a giant gorilla. For the rest, we have to admit that we don’t know much about this opus, eight months after its release in our cinemas. But each passing day brings us closer to the unveiling of the first trailer, which will reveal both the plot and style of the feature film.
