
Disney has released the national poster and trailer for “Mickey Mouse: The Story of a Mouse,” a documentary that will tell the story of the Mickey Mouse character from its creation in 1928 to the present day.
The film will show how Walt Disney conceived Mickey Mouse, how the character helped the US population have fun during the height of the 1929 crisis, when the country entered an economic depression, its influence during the Second World War, its coexistence with the hippies. . and so on, until he became one of the greatest icons of American pop culture.
The production is directed by Jeff Malmberg (“Marwencol”) and features great Disney animation characters such as Eric Goldberg (“Fantasia 2000” and “Pocahontas”), Mark Henn (“The Little Mermaid” and “The Lion King”), Randy Haycock (“Hercules” and “Tarzan”) and Floyd Norman (“Tiger: The Movie” and “Monsters, Inc.”).
The premiere is scheduled for November 18 on Disney +.
