Marvel Studios would find the writer of the next Avengers movie. Deadline cited his secret sources to announce Jeff Loveness, who recently wrote “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, as the screenwriter of “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty”.
Loveness will join Destin Daniel Cretton (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”), announced at Comic-Con International as project director.
For now, the only confirmed cast member is Jonathan Majors, who plays villain Kang the Conqueror.
The character had a brief introduction as a variant introduced in the season 1 finale of “Loki”, but is expected to have a major presence in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”. This must have been taken into consideration for the definition of Loveness as the writer of the new Avengers.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” will be released next May in Brazil, while “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” should be released in theaters only in May … 2025.
