Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, September 16, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil that airs tomorrow night on France 2! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read!

On Friday 16th September in such great sunshine…

Patrice Angel died while in police custody. Becker suspects Manu’s mistake and questions the policeman. The latter, who continues to proclaim his innocence, assures that he did not lose his temper after the departure of Angel’s lawyer.

Unfortunately, Manu was alone in the interrogation room and the camera had been cut off. An examination is underway and the IGPN has started an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the death. Awaiting the results, Manu is suspended. He is disappointed and disturbed by Becker’s attitude.

Judge Alphand was informed of Patrice Angel’s death. He immediately tells the story to Kristoff, who questions him. After leaving, his companion, struggling to deal with the consequences of his actions, leaves vomiting. In turn, Johanna tells this terrible news to Eva, Patrice’s wife, who is upset.

Patrice Angeli’s death is mentioned in the TV news. Charles thinks he recognizes the man who was in his office with Kristoff. Lost, she doesn’t know if she should go to the police. He fears losing his job if his suspicions turn out to be unfounded.

Prosecutor Bernier goes to Becker’s office to ask him for an explanation. According to the first conclusions of the medical examiner Hugo, Angel was not subjected to violence and his death would be related to the operation performed during his release.

Bernier fears they will be criticized for interrogating Patrice without considering his health. He is counting on Becker to solve the case. Christophe and Cecile meet and share an intimate moment.

Leaving the classroom, Louis congratulates Kira for making progress in tennis. He advises her to take classes more regularly. A young girl, still harboring a secret hope of falling in love with Louis, invites him over for drinks in the late afternoon to discuss it, but Louis declines because he is unavailable.

It was then that Lily joined Louis and thanked him for standing by her in philosophy class. Then he kisses Kira in front of her. Louis and Lily are officially a couple. Tais, seeing his new friend upset and sad, decides to change his mind and suggests going to the beach.

A young woman supports Kira in her love troubles and advises her to go out with older and therefore more mature guys. Meanwhile, Damien, the new philosophy teacher, is the center of attention from his colleagues.

Claire and Florent finish the last boxes. They move the next morning. Just then, Florent received a call from Enzo. He offers his son to come and finish his boxes, but Enzo refuses. He asks his father to leave them at the apartment, picks them up to put them with his mother. Florent then realizes that his son will not be coming back to live with them.
