Stephen King’s imagination has spawned many terrifying stories and characters. For Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, he reunites with producers Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story) and Jason Blum (Go Away) to adapt one of his most original stories.
The story follows Craig, a teenager who befriends Mr. Harrigan, an elderly billionaire who lives alone in his mansion. Together they share common passions. A young guy decides to offer her an iPhone so that they can communicate via messages.
When Mr. Harrigan dies, Craig finds himself alone. He decides to burn the iPhone in a coffin, but their friendship does not end there. A high school student receives calls and messages from an old friend. Disappearances and strange accidents happen very quickly. Is this a tasteless joke or a supernatural connection?

Starring Oscar winner Donald Sutherland (Attack on the Defilers, The Hunger Games) and Jaden Martel. The young actor is familiar with the world of Stephen King, as he played one of the heroes in two films released in 2017 and 2019.
Mr. Harrigan’s Phone is directed by John Lee Hancock, the man behind the thriller A Matter of Details starring Jared Leto and The Blind Side starring Sandra Bullock.
The premiere of the film will be held on October 5 on Netflix.
