With few releases, streaming stands out with the release of Licorice Pizza, the Mom series and another episode of The Rings of Power
The third week of September came with little news on Amazon Prime Video. Among the recent releases is the comedy series mom, which tells the story of Christy (Anna Faris) and Bonnie (Allison Janney), two women who are mother and daughter and who have different frictions and disagreements. Together, they must find a way to get along and stay sober.

Launched in 2013, production ended after eight seasons and seven of them are now available on Amazon for streaming. It’s a good chance to run a marathon with this story created by Chuck Lorre (Two men and a half), Eddie Gorodetsky and Gemma Baker.

Horror fans can celebrate the arrival of Possession of Mary, a feature film released in 2019 that tells the story of a family who is sailing in isolated waters when they discover the ship on which terrible secrets are kept. From then on, horrible events begin to occur, causing everyone to question their sanity.

Another novelty coming to the Prime Video catalog is the romantic drama Licorice pizza, nominated for an Oscar in 2022 in the categories of Best Picture, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. It tells the love story between Gary (Cooper Hoffman), a 15-year-old boy; and Alana (Alana Haim), a 25-year-old woman. The film extrapolates romantic love and shows all the layers of this relationship.

It is also worth mentioning that the third episode of or The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Powerseries that has been successful among fans of the saga.
