It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Episode 490 on Monday, September 19, 2022 [SPOILERS]

On Monday, September 19, it all starts here…

Graduate students of the institute present their projects for emblematic dishes. Anais explains her recipe, but Speaker and Rose don’t buy into the proposal at all. The chef advises him to reveal himself more.

The young woman feels helpless, clueless, and Salome and Enzo are overwhelmed. Friends help to draw memories and think about a dish associated with grandmother. He is enthusiastic and running.

Anais runs into David at the commissary, who points out that he hasn’t seen her in a few days. He believes it is because of Lysandro. She confirms to him that Butler wants the three of them to maintain a more professional relationship. Anaïs puts her hand on her shoulder beautifully and Salome surprises them.

He stops them and tells Anais to go back to the kitchen with the chef waiting for them. Behind the stove, the latter is interested in Anais’s new preparation. It is interesting for him, but he repeats that his dish lacks volume and sincerity.

Anais is dry, she does not understand what is being asked of her. Salome is invited to work together in the evening and she accepts. Before starting, Anais seeks comfort from Elisandro. He has faith in her and is sure that she will have a brilliant idea. Anais is less sure, she doesn’t enjoy going back to her past.

He goes for a walk and falls on David. He notices her distress and invites her for a drink… Finally, she prefers going out with her ex to training with Salome! Her best friend tries to convince her to come over for a meal, but Anais is stubborn and wants to rest.

This behavior seems strange to Salome. He discusses it with Enzo and they realize that Anais is extremely secretive about her past. They think that’s why he’s blocking his signature dish.

Anais and David go to the beach and clink glasses. Happy to spend time with her, she admits that she has missed him… tries to get closer but is gently stopped. He is on good terms with Lisandro and does not want to jeopardize his relationship. Anais also states that nothing will ever be the same between David and her because of what happened with a certain Matthew…

Mehdi accepts an offer to work in Paris for three weeks. Hortense isn’t happy because she doesn’t like them being apart…especially around Vic. Mehdi notices his girlfriend’s discomfort and thinks not to take the job.

In Double A, Vicky struggles to identify the wine in the cellar. He asks Lionel for help, who refuses to help him. He also tells her that Hortense warned her that Vic would behave like this, and that if she made a mistake, she wouldn’t hesitate to blame him. Lisandro intervenes and corrects the first year, who is not focused and is slowing everyone down.

Vicki is in bad shape and blames her sister for it. He rushes to settle the score with Hortense, accusing her of giving him a bad reputation. He replies that he has done nothing against her. Vicki is furious and wonders what Mehdi is doing with her. Hortense questions her sister: is their next target romantically?

Vicki replies that in any case he returned to the institute thanks to Mehdi, who helped him during the competitive tests. Hortense is taken aback and demands an explanation from the concerned principal. He confirms that Vicki is telling the truth.

He excuses himself by saying that he did not realize at that time that they got along so badly. Hortense feels betrayed and thinks it is Mehdi’s fault that her sister was taken. He is upset and insists that Vicky would have been taken with or without his help. Annoyed, he finally decides to accept a job offer in Paris, judging that the distance will do them good.

Ethan takes a drug test with Constance. The nurse advises him to see a drug addict, but he refuses to go on a date. He wants to try to get himself out. His results are negative, Teissier is satisfied, but specifies that he is constantly monitored.

Constance sees that her husband has Ethan’s best interests at heart because she recognizes herself in him. In class, she and Samia continue to flirt. They talk about their kiss again, and both are clearly dying to relive it…but they don’t want to admit it out of pride and make each other laugh.

At full cooking, Ethan provokes Samia because he mastered the recipe better than her. He puts their rivalry under the rug, but he doesn’t really want to joke around. He insists and pressures her, she pushes him and tells him about the drugs she is taking. All shots are allowed to be the best…but it’s Ethan who comes out victorious at the end of the class.

Samiya is upset. Ethan comes to make fun of her, but his humor is gone. He invites her for a drink, but he declines. The tension between them rises and Samia becomes very nervous. They decide to duel the next day to come up with the same preparation as this morning. If Ethan wins again, Samia offers to spend the evening with him.
