A child whose parents are separated takes care of many household chores at home that are usually done by adults. Alone and struggling, Danny is actually forced to juggle two jobs to meet his son’s needs… to the detriment of being with him.
Helen, Dan’s ex, is aware of the situation and wants to use it to regain sole custody of Mathis. Legal actions begin and an investigation begins… Danny goes to meet Sebastien (Xavier Deluc), while Benjamin (Alexandre Varga) checks on the child’s health.
The prosecutor and the doctor clearly see that father and son adore each other. Their complicity and their love are evident… but as Benjamin confides to Alma (Camille de Pacis), Matisse’s lifestyle is too intense for his youth and his mental workload is too heavy. All objectively, the doctor is obliged to record his observations in his report.
Danny learns of this and, despairing at the thought of never seeing his son again, loses his temper. He rushes to the hospital and attacks Benjamin with Reno’s (Pierre Denis) eye! Later, the aggrieved father goes to apologize to the doctor, who appreciates the gesture… and who agrees not to press charges against him.
But Reno doesn’t take it that way and goes to the police station on behalf of the hospital’s board of directors! At the same time, as he gets into his car, Benjamin is shot in the chest! He falls behind the wheel of his car…
Obviously, the first suspicions are against Dan. The police go to his house: he is afraid and arrests Mathis and Leo! Karim (Sami Gharbi) and Sara (Camille Genau) urge him to open the door, but Danny is nervous and now he’s about to do something stupid… Will he do something irreparable?
