The Spider-Man franchise starring Andrew Garfield hasn’t gotten a third movie – and the actor has revealed his thoughts on the matter
The deductibles of Spider man starring Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland won three films — but that of Andrew Garfield was discontinued in the second feature, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 – Electro’s Menace (2014). With that, the star revealed that he feels disappointed and responsible for what happened: “I never felt capable.”
In an interview with Zaki’s Corner, Garfield revealed his disappointment with the “failure” of his own franchise. “I thought it was going to be the Spider man, You know? I got into it… the ego got into it. It’s like, ‘Okay, here it is. I’m the fucking Spider man. I made it.’ All this shit. I really couldn’t. I was never the Spider man,” said the actor.
Garfield He added: “The best thing is that this is what Peter parker was doing too. Peter parker created this symbol which he failed to fulfill. It was never enough. He never felt enough, and I never felt enough. I never felt capable of doing enough. And I couldn’t rescue those movies… even if I didn’t sleep.”
Spider-Man: No Return Home
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Return Home is the hero’s third solo film in the MCU The film addresses the consequences of the revelation made by Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) that the Spider man It’s Peter Parker (Tom Holland).
Now that the whole world knows the truth and turns against the hero, Peter need help from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to erase everyone’s mind and come back with keeping the identity a secret. However, not everything will go as planned and the Mage’s actions could have serious effects on the multiverse. Film opened in theaters on December 15.
