Less than 48 hours after its release, Dahmer: Monster – The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is number one in more than 20 countries. Co-created by Ryan Murphy, the series chronicles the atrocities committed by one of America’s most dangerous serial killers. Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer killed 17 people without bothering the authorities.
In the lead role, Evan Peters amazes and everyone agrees. The actor, who is familiar with the work of Ryan Murphy, will portray a criminal from adolescence to death in prison. Feedback on social networks is not expected. Many appreciate the performance of the interpreters, the accuracy of the reconstruction and the political message at the center of the story.
#DahmerNetflix #Damer #Evan Peters Evan was already used to incredible interpretations, but for DAHMER it must be said that it is breathtaking.
So much so that it becomes Nicholson’s height in The Shining, populated by his character.clear

I say this every time, but damn, Evan Peters is amazing! What a talent! He’s not acting, he’s becoming a character, and for Dahmer, it’s absolutely terrifying… π± Give him all the awards in the world for this interpretation! pic.twitter.com/bqgL32UR6q

Evan Peters is truly terrifying #Damer, and the streak is mercilessly relentless. I’m still not sure how I feel about it in general, but one thing’s for sure: He’s going to need *years* of therapy.

“Evan Peters as Dahmer is truly terrifying and the show is relentless. I don’t know what to make of this yet, but one thing is for sure: He’s going to need years of therapy.“
The series about Dahmer, when we see the scenes where the neighbor hears Dahmer butchering his victim, crying, it’s disgusting, I can’t imagine the psychological state of his neighbor

The screenplay, very well written, doesn’t hold back on extenuating Dahmer’s crimes, let alone making him a hero. The episode is also dedicated to criticizing its unhealthy co-stars to the detriment of the immense pain of the victims’ families. #DahmerNetflix pic.twitter.com/5tfkR5SJ7S

#DahmerNetflix Discomfort comes out. Evan Peters is terrifying in this sick role. The series is far from unbearable to watch, but it manages to create real tension through the pale color photography. pic.twitter.com/vyKDZgsYiH

In fact, the crimes committed by Jeffrey Dahmer are incredibly violent. In discussing this story, the difficulty is not to fall into unbearable and gratuitous scenes. creators, Ryan Murphy And Ian Brennan managed to avoid this disaster.
The series, logically, is very dark and creates a feeling of uneasiness that follows the viewer from beginning to end. Yet the atrocities committed by the killer are mostly assumed or filmed off-camera. Details are often conveyed through dialogues.
As in Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Dahmer’s series doesn’t really need pints of blood to illustrate terror. It’s all about the atmosphere and tension created by the actors’ staging and acting.
I love how Ryan Murphy and Evan Peters in “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” demonstrate that this guy took advantage of the white privilege of racist justice and policing that allowed him to commit all these crimes in gay bars and saunas. pic.twitter.com/3lfUXljhUt

Dahmer is the first series that managed to bother me. The acting is incredible, the aesthetics are great, we’re completely immersed in the atmosphere and confronting racism and homophobia in the United States. I recommend you 100000%. #DahmerNetflix #Damer

Episode 6 #Damer It’s heartbreaking. They do a fantastic job of really showing who his victims were, what their dreams were, how much their family loved them. So rare and essential. Intestinal decay too. This series is hard to watch, hard to turn off.

“Episode 6 of Dahmer is heartbreaking. They do a fantastic job of showing who his victims were, what their dreams were, how their families loved them. This is rare and necessary for a series like this. It takes guts. This is a series that is hard to watch and hard to put up with.“
In other adaptations of Jeffrey Dahmer’s story, the political dimension was not so prominent. The series puts him at the center of the story, especially in the second part, from episode 6 onwards. The Milwaukee killer mostly targeted ethnic minorities.
There was a fair share of fetishism and racism behind this choice, but it was primarily a way to continue his killing spree for several years. The Milwaukee police were grossly negligent in this case. The black community was completely ignored. None of the warnings were taken seriously, nor were there any obvious signs of strange behavior on the part of the perpetrator.
