Netflix has released the teaser for part 3 of “Lupine”. Unveiled on Tudum, the preview
brings the character of Omar Sy “disappeared”, but preparing his grandiose return.
The most popular French production on the platform secured its third year in May 2021, even before the premiere of Part 2. The repercussions of the series have been such as to encourage Netflix to sign a contract to develop new projects with star Omar Sy. Before his success with “Lupine”, he had already starred in another worldwide phenomenon, the film “The Untouchables”, from 2011, which was remake in several countries.
Created by George Kay (screenwriter of “Killing Eve”) in collaboration with François Uzan (“Family Business”), the series pays homage to Arsène Lupine, the famous literary criminal of the novels of the writer Maurice LeBlanc, known for 100 years as “the thief in cassock “. for his elegance and style.
In the plot, the thief played by star Omar Sy (from “The Untouchables”) is inspired by the character to carry out a major robbery, using the same talent as Lupine in his crimes. Full of twists and turns, the attraction is produced – and directed for a few episodes – by Louis Leterrier, the director of the thriller “Trick of a Master”.
