Netflix has released the trailer for the comedy “Matrimilhas”, an Argentine production starring Luisana Lopilato, the Mía Colucci of “Rebelde Way” (the original version of “Rebelde”). Unveiled on Tudum, the preview presents a technological premise worthy of “Black Mirror”.
A couple in crisis decides to use an app that awards or subtracts points for every good deed they do for each other. The goal is to earn a certain number of miles, which you can spend on yourself without your spouse’s company. This seems to be the solution at the end of the fights, until the obsession with accumulating points gets out of control.
With a screenplay by Gabriel Korenfeld (“Echoes of a Crime”) and directed by Sebastián De Caro (“Claudia”), the film also features Juan Minujín (“Two Popes”) as her husband.
The first will take place in December.
