Netflix has released the poster and trailer for the 4th and final season of “Manifest”, which points to several revelations relating to the passengers of Flight 828, as well as answers to their mysteries. Revealed on Tudum, the preview also shows passengers in distress, as targets for an assassin.
“Manifest” follows the passengers of a plane which, after missing for five years, lands at its destination as if nothing had happened. The passengers are exactly as they were, without time having passed for them, which attracts the attention of the government, the media and affects the families who considered them dead. In addition to the mystery of the disappearance, travelers have yet to deal with an unexpected side effect, starting to hear “calls” to do certain things.
According to producers, including acclaimed director Robert Zemeckis (“Back to the Future”), the plot was inspired by the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, but the premise also suggests the influence of “Lost” and “The 4400” . .
The platform has ordered 20 unreleased chapters, which will conclude the plot. Otherwise, the series would have ended indefinitely in its third season as it was canceled from its original channel. For this, he negotiated special conditions, which eliminated the production of other streamers, such as Globoplay, to ensure exclusivity.
The entire original cast is back for the finale, most notably Josh Dallas (Prince Charming from “Once Upon a Time”), Melissa Roxburgh (“Valor” series), Parveen Kaur (“Beyond” series), Luna Blaise ( “Beyond” series) “Fresh Off the Boat” series), JR Ramirez (“Jessica Jones” series), Matt Long (“Helix”), Daryl Edwards (“Daredevil”) and Holly Taylor (“The Americans”).
Already Athena Karkanis (“Zoo” series) and the boy Jack Messina (“Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”), members of the original three seasons, will not return due to the facts seen at the end of the last chapter aired.
An interesting detail is that season 4 will debut on November 4, an important day in the plot, because it was the date the characters disembarked from Flight 828 in the inaugural episode.
