During Tudum, an event to announce the news, Netflix revealed a new video for “Wandinha,” a spin-off series starring Jenna Ortega that will bring the Addams Family back to the screens.
In the unedited scene, Gomez and Morticia’s daughter negotiates with Little Hand, one of the Addams Family’s most iconic characters … but the reunion wasn’t friendly at all. Appearance:
“Wandinha” is a series directed by Tim Burton and created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who serve as showrunners. The production will follow the character as he goes through high school hardships and family dilemmas.
In addition to Jenna Ortega, the cast includes Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley.
“Wandinha” arrives on the streaming platform on November 23rd.
“School never again”
In addition to this new video, Netflix recently released a Website to promote their new series and invite those who feel out of place to join the Escola Não Mais.
The website has a scope and a test to check if the candidate fits the fictional school. There are other sections on the page as well, including one by distinguished alumni such as Morticia Addams, Ignatius Itt, and Catherine Zeta-Jones’s Edgar Allan Poe.
The school’s mission is also described as “Founded in 1791, the Never Again School is an educational institution for outcasts, monsters and monsters. Our mission is to help each student master their extraordinary skills with first-rate classes and unique extracurricular activities, ”the website states.
In addition to the name and e-mail address, at the time of the application the candidate must provide an address to which the school must send the letter of “acceptance”.
