The wait is almost over! In less than 3 months, viewers will finally be able to discover Avatar: The Way of the Water, the sequel to the first part released in 2009.

At Disney’s D23 event in early September, AlloCiné was able to speak briefly with two of the film’s future stars: Bailey Bass and Trinity Jo-Lee Bliss.

The former portrays Cyrea, the daughter of Ronal (Kate Winslet) and Tonovar (Cliff Curtis), leaders of the Metkaina clan.

“The world of Avatar is amazing. The movie was a huge hit and it means so much to so many people. Expanding that world into Waterway, especially through the Metkaina clan, is so exciting!”Bailey Bass is excited.

As for the other, she is camped by Tuktirei, the youngest daughter of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) of the Omaticaya clan. “He may look amazing, but he has a warrior spirit and he is very curious with his big eyes, always ready to observe everything!”says Trinity Jo-Lee Bliss.

The two young actors loved diving into the world of Pandora, and the themes of this sequel were easy to grasp.

The family is at the center of the second opus

“The theme of family will be very important in Avatar 2. We will follow not only Jake and Neytiri, but many other characters, other families who want to protect their children.”Trinity Jo-Lee Bliss points out.

“The film also talks about caring for people that we are not necessarily directly related to. This is a very important topic these days and one that will be very relevant.”– says Bailey Bass.
