The new names feature Arden Cho (“Teen Wolf”) as June, George Takei (“Star Trek”) as Koh, Danny Pudi (“Community”) as Mechanic, Amber Midthunder (“Predator: The Hunt”) as Princess Yue, Momona Tamada (“To All the Boys”) as Ty Lee, Utkarsh Ambudkar (“Free Guy”) as Rei Bumi, Thalia Tran (“Council of Dads”) as Mai and James Sie reprising the role of Cabbage Man who voiced in the original animation.

Inspired by Japanese anime, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko’s original series has become one of the most popular animations on the Nickeledeon pay channel for kids. In addition to film success, it has also won an Emmy and numerous prestigious awards such as Annie, Genesis and Peabody Awards during its three full seasons.
Although the series has ended, his stories continue in the comics to this day, as well as giving birth to another television hit, “The Legend of Korra,” an attraction derived from the main story that lasted another four seasons.
The show’s creators were early on the adaptation, but last year they got into a fight with Netflix and dropped out of production, replaced by Albert Kim (“Sleepy Hollow”).
Netflix also revealed that filming has already begun, but the series doesn’t have a premiere date yet.
