Following the announcement of Hugh Jackman and Wolverine’s return in “Deadpool 3”, “Logan” director James Mangold responded on his Twitter.
Hitting our theaters in 2017, James Mangold’s Logan brought Hugh Jackman’s narrative arc to a close by killing off the iconic hero in Wolverine.
Since then, the Australian comedian has, many times First, he reiterated that he was done with the X-Men despite repeated pleas from his friend Ryan Reynolds, who wanted him to take on the suit in Deadpool 3.

And Sean Levy, who previously played Hugh Jackman in 2011’s Real Steel, added: “JI’m not going to say where or how, but I’m absolutely determined to be the one to bring these two great Gods together in one movie..
So it’s already over as Ryan Reynolds just announced that Hugh Jackman will be taking on the role of Wolverine in Deadpool 3 .
If this ad Excited Like Reynolds and Levy, it didn’t sit well with everyone…notably James Mangold, who directed Wolverine: Immortals in 2013 and Logan in 2017. “Oh my god ! Everyone will calm down. I’m kidding! I’m ok ! LOGAN will always be there. Multiverse or prequel, time warp or wormhole, canon or not canon or even no justification, I can’t wait to see what crazy things my dear friends @VancityReynolds and @RealHughJackman are up to!“
Now it remains to be seen how the writers are going to bring Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine back in Logan after his death … an answer that troublemakers Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman attempted to answer in a video posted to Twitter today.
