In Buckingham Palace they do not trust Netflix series. At least that’s what it seems after meeting one of his alleged warning request by the royal family on the occasion of the upcoming premiere of season 5 of ‘The Crown’the successful series about its history over the years and that, now, will address the turbulent history of Diana of Wales.
According to a “royal source” from The Telegraphthe royal family wants Netflix to add a disclaimer that their series is a “drama, not a documentary.”

The fifth season of ‘The Crown’ prepares for a new generational change with a new cast and new stories. One of the most awarded Netflix series will have new episodes without an Olivia Colman who says goodbye and passes the baton to a new queen, played by Imelda Staunton.
But this will not be the element of the cast that has put the recent monarch on guard, but the presence of Elizabeth Debicki as Lady Di and Dominic West as the former Prince Charles.
Season 4 ends in 1990, the year Thatcher stepped down as Prime Minister. From there, the time that the fifth will travel is unknown. However, Deadline reported that season 6 will not go until the early 2000s, so it is expected that the series goes into the 90s, although it is not known for now where it will put the end point.
The 1990s have various relevant data in the UKwhich will surely be taken into account for the series:
