Dune break version: terrible special effects and rough acting, discover the trailer for Planet Dune

Start Arrakis in Planet Dune, a Nanardesque production that surfs the success of Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation!

Forget Denis Villeneuve’s Dune… or else! The Asylum studio, which specializes in Nanars, examines the work of Frank Herbert with its own adaptation of the famous novel.

The producer has already offered many imitation films (films more or less plagiarized from blockbusters and intended for the video market), such as the Sharknado saga, The Terminators, Transmorphers or Titanic: Odyssey 2012.

In Planet Dune, which therefore openly looks at the side of Denis Villeneuve’s version, we find ourselves in a world very hostile to man. Dunes covered in arid deserts are inhabited by giant carnivorous sandworms.

A space crew is sent to an abandoned base to rescue their colleagues in danger, but the rescue mission quickly turns into carnage.

As you can see in the trailer above, The Asylum lives up to its reputation. Terrible special effects, lousy acting, empty set pieces…we are without a doubt in the big fat bobo of Asylum!

Note that Sean Young, who played Chan in David Lynch’s Dune, is central here as Chase, the crew chief.

If you want to pick it up, it’s Planet Dune Available on VOD.

Bonus VF print with a giant computer generated worm look… hurry up.
