Syndrome E: Who Is Jennifer Decker, Lucy Hannebel’s Interpreter In New TF1 Series?

Directed by Claire Keim and Lanick Guthrie, TF1 tonight draws Syndrome E, its new polar series, which should not fail to create an event, as this six-episode thriller is nothing more than an adaptation of the novel. Frank Tilliez, which depicts the meeting of two of the writer’s heroes: Frank Charcot and Lucy Hannebel.

Two police officers, played by Vincent Elbaz and Jennifer Dekker from the Comédie-Française, who will have to team up to overcome a complex investigation with many challenges. Indeed, when corpses are discovered with their brains removed, Charcot and Hannebel must also unravel the mystery of a series of disappearing children and a disturbing film from the 60s that causes those who watch it to behave strangely and dangerously.

And while Syndrome E has many faces we don’t need to introduce, from Vincent Elbaz to Emmanuelle Béart, Michel Bernier, Kool Schöne, Berenger Crieff and Dominique Blanc, thriller fans may wonder who the actor who lends his qualities to Lucy Hannebel is. Because despite a rich and extensive career on both the boards and the screen, Jennifer Decker is not (yet) a well-known actress to the general public.

Passionate about the dramatic arts, Jennifer Decker first flourished on stage by learning the basics of the classical register. In 2001, a young artist slipped into the shoes of Capulet’s daughter during a return visit. Juliet and RomeoDirected by Irina Brook.

In 2006, the actor multiplies projects. The daughter of Alexandra Vandernut and Didier Flamand in Christoph Schaub’s Jeune Homme, she worked with James Franco and Jean Reno in the American production Flyboys. France 2 viewers will next find her in the skin of Dauphin Marie-Joseph in Jeanne Poisson, Marquise de Pompadour, in the historical saga hosted by Hélène de Fougerolles and Vincent Pérez.

Over the years and projects, Jennifer Dekker has answered screen partners such as Jean-Baptiste Mounier (Hellphone), Jean-Pierre Darossin (A bank error in your favor) and Simon Abkarian (Les amants naufragés).

But it was in September 2011 when his career changed when he became a resident of Comedie-Française. A great opportunity that allows him to immerse himself in the worlds of Victor Hugo, Moliere, Shakespeare, Dostoevsky or even Marivo.

Currently, audiences can also find him at the Comédie-Française, in the role Regan, daughter of King Lear, in a new production of Shakespeare’s eponymous play, notably with Dennis Podalides and Marina Hands. Jennifer Decker will also appear later in the 2022-23 season.Angels in AmericaNew stage version, directed by Arnaud Desplechin.

But for now, right on TF1 tonight, we’ll be able to find her in her first starring role in a series, thanks to E. Syndrome, in which her character Hannebel will have to travel across borders. It is strange to put an end to the experiments, the victim of which seems to be a long time ago. the entire program.
