Steven Seagal, Vladimir Vdovichenkov, Kirill Kyaro and others at the film premiere in Moscow

The evening before the last working day of the week was rich in film premieres. While the latest episodes of “Mutual Consent” directed by Valeria Gai Germanika were being discussed at Karo, a new film by Stanislav Sapacheva “Plast” was shown at the Moscow cinema, starring Vladimir Vdovichenkov and Kirill Kyaro. The actors introduced their heroes – friends Slava and Zhenya, who trade in amber and help each other since childhood – the actors personally introduced the audience.

They were accompanied on stage by actress Victoria Bogatyreva, director Stanislav Sapachev and producer Anzhelika Pashkova. And off stage is American actor and action star Steven Seagal. He became the special guest of the show. This is the second appearance of Segal in the capital’s public in a week. At one of the restaurants in the capital, the actor, who became a citizen of Russia back in 2016, celebrated his 70th birthday, which was a serious star turnout.

The film “Plast” tells the story of childhood friends Slava and Zhenya. In the 90s, they had a real chance to “climb” on amber, become wealthy people and live comfortably. But due to one unpleasant circumstance that arose through the fault of Glory, this did not happen. Now Slava and Zhenya are working for the big crime boss Evgeny Sergeevich. By chance, they get a “lucky lot” – the boss allocates them a batch of smuggled amber for the purpose of subsequent sale. In connection with this, Zhenya has an insidious plan, he wants to get rich quickly and, finally, become what he always dreamed of. Glory does not seem to share the ideals of a comrade too much. The friendship of the guys is forced to pass the test of big money.

The shooting of the project took place in Kaliningrad and its environs – Zelenogradsk, Svetlogorsk and Yantarny. In addition to Vdovichenkov and Kyaro, Victoria Bogatyreva, Sergei Makovetsky, Emil Egorova and artists from Kaliningrad theaters play in the film.
