Dahmer on Netflix: The killer’s personal belongings are for sale!

Upon its release, Dahmer: Monster – The Story of Jeffrey Dahmer was controversial. The family of Errol Lindsey, the killer’s 11th victim, has broken their silence and pointed the finger at the Netflix platform, which they accused of profiting from the drama.

The success of the series – which started off stronger than Squid Game in its first week – is prompting some unscrupulous traders to take advantage of the murders committed by the “Milwaukee Cannibals”.

Launched in 2018 by Canadian Taylor James, the website Cult collectible Specializes in selling authentic items related to criminal cases. Amongst this mountain of articles, the owner is putting on the market personal items that belonged to Jeffrey Dahmer.

Administrative documents are sold from 550 to 4000 dollars; A handwritten letter from his father, Lionel Dahmer, is worth $2,500, and a copy of the killer’s confession is $8,500. They even offer a school painting for $5,000.

The collector is also selling items he has collected since his incarceration, such as his Bible ($10,000) and religious booklet ($500). Owner Taylor James also explains that he sells used prison glasses for $150,000. This object is not visible on the site. The collector should be contacted directly.

If these methods go beyond the limits of understanding and obscenity, some do not hesitate to take out their wallets. The man behind the Cult Collectibles site reveals that he sold another pair of glasses to a famous lawyer. Undoubtedly, such commercialization will revive the debate surrounding the fetishization of the killer.
