Elizabeth Olsen Says Cast Didn’t Know End Of “Avengers: Infinity War”

Elizabeth Olsen, Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Scarlet Witch / Wanda Maximoff, recounted her experience in “Avengers: Infinity War” in an interview, where she revealed that she and the other actors didn’t know what happened at the end of the film.

In conversations with VarietyOlsen claimed that The Blip, the event in which half of the living creatures were “wiped” from the universe at random by Thanos, was not in his copy of the script.

“I mean, in these movies I don’t really know what’s going on. I just take my pages, so I understand the part of the story I’m making, ”she explained. “I get a story that is told to me by the [irmãos Russo] about what’s going on in the rest of the film. And it’s not in the script that everyone is “stunned,” Olsen said of “Avengers: Infinity War”.

Olsen also told more about all of Marvel’s safety with information from their productions. “In these movies, you can read a script in an office, with a security guard, on a specific iPad. And I’m like, ‘Can you give me what I need to know? And I don’t really need to know what happens to the whole part of Robert [Downey Jr.] in the movie.”

As for the film’s ending, Elizabeth Olsen said the cast believed the film would end differently. However, she said that she already knew of Vision’s death because she had filmed this particular scene before the one involving Blip.

“We called it ‘The Wedding’ in programming. But I didn’t know I was canceled until filming. This we were told that day. We all went to the van where they had a lot of equipment to show us the previews.

He continued: “Scarlett [Johansson]Chris [Hemsworth]Chadwick [Boseman]Sebastian [Stan]. We were all in this van and they said, ‘This is what’s happening. You will disappear. ‘ And we were like, ‘OK’. It was shocking. I mean, we didn’t know. We thought the film would end differently. “

Olsen’s character eventually returned and starred in his own series alongside Paul Bettany, the Vision. “WandaVision” began the trajectory of the MCU through the exclusive series for Disney +, which has gotten more productions frequently. He also starred in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.

Though her fate was in doubt at the end of the film, Kevin Feige has already hinted that Scarlet Witch is expected to return to the MCU in the future.
