Back to the police investigation after the November 13, 2015 attacks, Novembre is Cédric Jimenez’s new film after Bac Nord. Actors Jean Dujardin, Sandrine Kiberlen and Lina Khudri tell us about the intensive shooting of this film.
After the huge success of Bac Nord, Cédric Jimenez is back with a new thriller on a stronger but also delicate subject. November, as its name suggests, harkens back to the attacks of 13 November 2015 that shook France and in particular the police services mobilized on that tragic night and in the days that followed.
The film tells the story of an unprecedented hunt by PJ’s Anti-Terrorist Unit (SDAT) to find those responsible for the massacre. We then dive into the various specialist teams who have been working tirelessly to trace the terrorist cell at the origin of the attacks.
For his fifth feature film, Cédric Jiménez challenged himself to direct a tragedy that deeply disturbed France. So how do you tell this traumatic story with emotion, strength, and humility? Actors Jean Dujardin, Sandrine Kiberlain and Lina Khudri Explain their characters and tell us about the intense filming in November.
