A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Thursday, October 6, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Luna warns Pavel that Stan has been arrested and that they better leave if they don’t want the next one. But Pavel is far from worried. He instructs Luna to buy them prepaid phones. However, the latter wants to go to Roland’s funeral. Paul gives her two days to mourn. When Luna comes out of the bedroom, Lorraine realizes that Pavel is still in love with her. However, this does not prevent Pavel from continuing to sleep with Lorraine.

Meanwhile, Thomas and Killian prepare, reminiscing about good memories with Roland, including his marriage to Mirta. At the same time, she becomes beautiful for who her husband was. As for François, he reassures Lola, who wanted to spend more time with her father.

Thomas informs the family that he has prepared a speech, but will not have the strength to read it. Killian suggests he do it. The time has come for the Marquess to say goodbye to Roland. But Thomas feels that he cannot see her in the coffin. Finally, as everyone has gone to see him, he changes his mind. He spends a special moment with his late father. Crying, she tells him how much she loves him and how she will miss him. He leans down to kiss her forehead.

At the same time, Leo is heading to the funeral. He meets Claire, who refuses to go there in his presence. But seeing Leo burst into tears, he still decides to accompany her.

During the ceremony, Killian reads Thomas’ speech honoring Roland. Suddenly, Thomas’ cell phone rang… in his father’s coffin. He must have fallen in when he bent down to say goodbye. It is too late to return it now. The Martians are having fun.

They all gather for a drink at the Mistral Bar. Thomas decides to call his own phone to leave a message on Roland’s answering machine. Everyone has their own little word…

Laetitia is having nightmares about the upcoming check-up. Despite his son’s support, he becomes irritated with him and their relationship becomes strained. At the end of strength, Leticia calls Rochat sick.

At the high school, the students are excited about Laetitia’s absence. Rochat changes it and goes straight from the French Revolution to Napoleon, his favorite subject. He is so passionate that he doesn’t hear the bell ring at the end of the course. Betty almost regrets Laetitia.

Meanwhile, Valentin arrives at Leticia’s. She confides in him that she’s not sure she’ll last in high school when she worked hard to become a teacher and that she still wants to be, despite the difficulties. Valentine encourages her and reminds her of her qualities to achieve what she wants.
