This wouldn’t be The Flash’s first remake with Ezra Miller following the Hawaii and Iceland assault controversy.
Even with the polemics of aggression in Hawaii and Iceland, Ezra Miller continued in the cast of The Flashmovie of DC Extended Universe (DCEU) set to premiere in 2023, and even reportedly filmed additional scenes last week, according to information from the The Wrap. It is worth remembering how production is under development by Warner Bros. since 2014.
As the site reported, Miller filmed new scenes for the feature in just one day last week on the studio lot of Warner Bros. However, there is no information on how many scenes the artist was a part of during these reshoots, but as it was for just one day, it seems like a relatively small set of recordings. This was not the actor’s first appearance in reshoots after controversy.

I went through a period of intense crisis. I now understand that I am suffering from complex mental disorders and have started treatment. I want to apologize to everyone I have disappointed with my past behavior. I will do the work necessary to return to a safe, productive and healthy stage of my life.
the treatment of Ezra is part of one of the alternatives found by the Warner to proceed with the release of The Flash.
According to the website The Hollywood Reporter, if the recovery happens in time, it will participate in the disclosure. The second option, however, would be not to include it in the film’s release, and to later replace it in future projects.
The last alternative to Warner would discard The Flash completely in case the situation of Ezra Miller worsen to the point that it becomes unsustainable. Reshoots aren’t a possibility, as the actor plays the character in multiple versions across the DC Universe. Discarding would be a huge financial loss for the studio.
