At the police station, Jean-Paul and Revel question Bastien about Pavel’s habits. The police can’t intervene while there are civilians in the Zephyr because they don’t know if Pavel is armed and fear a massacre. Bastien suggests slowly emptying the hotel so as not to alert Pavel, for example, thanks to a fire drill. Jean-Paul’s only request is that he not tell Luna or his children about this.
In turn, Ariane questions Stan and promises to adjust the sentence if he turns on Pavel. But the young man said nothing. At the end of the interview, Abdel, representing him, asks Ariane: Really, Nathan wants to talk to Stan.
Meanwhile, Bastien manages to convince Luna and the kids to go on a beach picnic for lunch. Luna is afraid of Pavel’s revenge, but eventually accepts. The Castells have no doubt that Lauren can hear them.
The police set up a device on the Place du Mistral and waited for the full evacuation of the Zephyr to intervene. When they enter Pavel and Lauren’s room, it is empty. Ariane figures out that they ran away a while ago, immediately.
While he is by the sea, Bastien is contacted by the police. He learns that Pavel escaped from them and panics. From a distance, he sees Luna being kidnapped and taken to a black car…
Killian finds it hard to believe that Roland bequeathed the Mistral bar to Charles Fremont. Thomas explains to him that the latter has always been involved in fights, that he is ready to do everything to achieve his goals and that this is not the first time that he tried to restore the famous bar. But Thomas and François believe that Killian should continue working there, precisely so that he can spy on Charles.
So Killian goes to the bar and finds that Fremont already owns the building. He renamed the establishment Le Charle’s, remodeled the facade, and planned for it to be a quality establishment. He instructs Killian to look inside and plans to add tables.
Charles then invites Thomas and Françoise for a toast. He claims to have saved Roland during their family conflict. As a thank you, Roland insisted on bequeathing him the bar of Mistral. Thomas and Francois are suspicious, but they have no choice but to give Charles the key to the bar.
While getting ready, Leticia panics because she has a stain on her blouse. He walks over to Kevin, then completely collapses, certain that he won’t pass his inspection. Kevin encourages her and finds something to hide the stain on her blouse.
In class, Laetitia admits to her students that she is stressed and asks them to make a good impression on the inspector. He stands in the back of the classroom and watches as Leticia fidgets with her brushes due to stress and worries about Betty’s interruptions.
At the end of the lesson, Laetitia asks the inspector for his opinion, who replies that he always expresses his opinion in writing, not on the spot. Laetitia admits that she was not at her best due to stress. The inspector relativizes. But Laetitia is kidnapped, convinced that her life is in danger, and declares how seriously she takes this case, especially because of the sacrifices she has had to make to get there. He feels that the inspector is punishing him in a way that he does not know.
If Rochat is impressed by Laetitia’s honesty with the inspector, he is still concerned about the consequences. Laetitia is sure that she will be fired. Rochat calls the rectory to support his profile.
