A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, October 12, 2022 [SPOILERS]

As Luna is under the influence of sleeping pills, Pavel informs her that he bought some clothes if she wants to change. Seeing her condition, he is distressed. Lorraine explains that Luna mostly needs to eat and drink. She offers him a cup of tea, but Pavel is suspicious. He orders Lorraine to drink from the glass. When she refuses to do so, he takes her aside to remind her that she will be the one to decide how to get rid of Luna. Lorraine suggests that she do it as soon as possible.

A little later, Pavel bursts into Luna’s room, ready to smother her with a pillow. He wakes up and meets his gaze in fear. Pavel finally refuses to kill him.

At the same time, Leo finds Agatha in her new hiding place. He observes her reasoning with the man. After that, Agatha reveals to him that she is Pavel’s mistress. While Agate wants to leave Marseilles as soon as possible, Leo sees an opportunity to find Luna. He promises Agatha that if she helps arrest Pavel, he can negotiate with the judge for his freedom.

Meanwhile, Nathan overhears Stan and Sabrina’s phone conversation. She understands that Stan is honoring their agreement and not informing her. So he says goodbye to his ex-lover with a promise of happiness.

Meanwhile, Manuel Jolival, the personal secretary of the director of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Justice, appears as Pavel’s best man. He goes to Revel to set up a fake meeting between the prosecutor and his so-called boss the next day at 1pm at the villa where the latter is staying…

At the police station, Alexandra surprises Kevin, who is tending to his Tamagotchi. As the two return to work, their connection and attraction to each other is still up in the air.

Meanwhile, Alexandra tells her about her ex Sven, who she met on the app. He loved her very much until he realized that she saw him as a mere sexual fantasy. Unlike Kevin, she has never had a true love story.

At the end of the day, Kevin and Alexandra talked in front of the police station. The young man has no doubt that his mother is watching them from afar. Laetitia understands why Kevin has been looking good lately. It expresses how much in love they look. However, Kevin confirms that no relationship between him and Alexandra will be possible, without explaining why.

Fremont forces Killian to dress up as a waiter. He also enlists her help to help him settle into the studio above the bar. Killian is furious, especially since Fremont is smoking a cigar inside.
