Second slasher movie from A24 in 2022, death death death arrived in Brazilian cinemas last Thursday, 6th. Directed by the Dutch filmmaker Halina Reijnthe production stars Amandla Stenberg (sophie), Maria Bakalova (bee), Rachel Sennott (Alice), Myha’la Herrold (Jordan), Chase Sui Wonders (Emma), Pete Davidson (David) and Lee Pace (Greg).
Like this panic 5also released in 2022 in theaters, death death death it makes a great satire on the slasher genre, but a more acidic script and with a lot of humor. The plot shows a group of friends who start a fun game during a storm, however, they start being murdered one by one – and begin to investigate who is the big killer. See the official synopsis below:

As they are in a storm and trapped in a house, the power eventually goes out and the characters find themselves in the dark, with only lights from neon bracelets/necklaces, flashlights and smartphones. Even with this darkness, Halina Reijn does a great job directing and doesn’t leave the viewer confused or blind to what’s happening on screen.
In addition to the quality of the director, death death death two actresses stand out: Rachel Sennottin Shiva Baby (2020), and Maria Bakalovawho interpreted Tutar Sagdiyev in Borat: Next Film Tape (2020). However, the script leaves something to be desired at times, such as some easy solutions to certain problems and the lack of development in some deaths.
Even though it was only released in October in Brazilian cinemas, the feature arrived in the United States two months earlier, on August 5th. So far, it does well at the box office – more than US$ 13 million has been raised worldwide. It was also critically acclaimed, with an 86% approval rating.
