TF1 has just announced the filming of its new detective series called Master Crimes. In this fiction, which will be divided into six 52-minute episodes, directed by Marven Abdallah, the audience will find Muriel Robin at the top of the bill.
The comedian, who has already featured in several feature films on the channel (My Angel, Jacqueline Sauvage: Was It Her or Me, The First Forgotten), here answers Anne Le Nene (they love each other… almost at last! ), his wife in the city.
Starring Olivier Claver (Doubts), Victor Meutle (Grand Hotel), Nordin Gansot (Young and Golly), Astrid Rous (Paris Police 1900), Thais Vauquier (Les Tuche 4) and Michael Cohen (Sammy).
Master Crimes was created and written by Elsa Marpeau. The latter also signs adaptations and dialogues with Frank Calderon. In the official press release, the front page offers an interesting first synopsis.
“Louise Arbus is a professor of psychocriminology at the university, both brilliant and outrageous, whose talents are recognized throughout France. Summoned by Superintendent Rugasira, he finds himself at a carefully and spectacularly staged crime scene.
The victim gives him a sentence from one of the books: “I am waiting for the perfect killer.” The killer seems to be talking to him! Louise Arbus is therefore forced to cooperate with the police to solve this investigation, having promised herself the arrest eight years before, after the conviction of a certain Pierre Delaunay…
To investigate, Louise then recruits four of her students to help: Samuel (a cautious and shy young man), Mia (a beautiful blonde, hot, in her thirties), Boris (a first-year student) and Valentin (a bubbly redhead, an Instagrammer).
With them, he examines the brain of this murderer. His method? Excellent insight and boundless bad faith that will test the patience of Captain DeLandre, a slightly psycho-hard cop who can’t stand disorder or breaking the rules. He will have a lot to deal with this crazy teacher and his unruly students.
As the murders mount, Louise paints a portrait of a serial killer who seems to commit murder to “punish” his victims for their worst sins…“
An attractive project reminiscent of the American series Murder with Viola Davis, which you should discover in a few months on TF1.
