7 “Moon Knight” Easter eggs you missed: Did you see Phastos from “Eternals” in the background?

“Moon Knight” is the new Marvel series that premiered on Disney Plus and, as expected, the famous easter eggs were present in the plot and these are some of the things you probably did not notice.

QR codes can be read in real life

During some episodes of “Moon Knight”, QR codes have appeared on various surfaces. One of them is located on a wall of the museum where the protagonist works and, when scanned, leads the viewer to the comic “Werewolf by Night” # 32, which inspired the series and marks the first appearance of Moon Knight on Marvel.

The second code is visible when Steven discovers the warehouse where Mark keeps his things and, similarly, scanning him, opens a comic book: the sequel to ‘Werewolf at night’, ie # 33.

The little reference to the characters of Thor and the Black Panther

As Steven flips through a text of Egyptian mythology, two very special books, “What’s Old is New Again: Asgard” and “History of Wakanda,” appear on the side, referring to the homes of the Avengers Thor and Black Panther.

A character from “Moon Knight” appears as an Easter egg

After a series of clues, Steven discovers a mysterious phone, which is later confirmed to be Marc’s. Among his missed calls are those from Layla, a character who enters the line shortly after. However, one can also read Duchamp’s name, which refers to Jean-Paul Duchamp, a French soldier who befriends Marc in the comics.

The link to “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”

At one point in the second chapter, Steven finds himself fighting an Egyptian creature summoned by Arthur Harrow to the streets of London and soon crashes into a double-decker truck.

This metaphor has a visible ad that effectively links it to the MCU, as it states “GRC: Reuniting with Your Best Half” or also known as the “World Repatriation Council”.

This organization is dedicated to the reunification of those who were deleted after the Thanos strike with their families and is featured in “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.

Are the Eternals watching Steven Grant?

Fans with clairvoyant eyes have discovered that Fastus from the “Eternals” can be seen for a second when Steven is disoriented on a bus on his way to work during episode 1.

This started the theory that the other Marvel superheroes are secretly watching the protagonist, as they know how dangerous he is when he transforms into a Marc Spector. Although there is nothing confirmed by Marvel about this theory, they are identical.

Madripoor in “Moon Knight”

In episode 3, Layla takes Marc to find Senfu sarcophagus on the black market. Arriving with collector Anton Mogart, one of his close friends says he is glad to see her after his meeting at Madripoor.

Which means it’s about to be the most delusional time of the year, as well as one of the highlights of “Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.

Who is the third personality of Steven Grant?

In the same chapter, Marc takes control of his body after he has a blackout and is covered in blood because he had killed some people.

Marc soon scolds Steven, but replies that it wasn’t him, which is a perfect nod to introduce the comics’ third protagonist, Jake Lockley.
