The famous actor auditioned for the role of Bruce Wayne opposite Tim Burton in the 1989 film “Batman”, but was not selected… probably because of his honesty!

Batman could have looked a little more “Bondian”! Irish-American actor Pierce Brosnan, best known for playing James Bond in four feature films between 1995 and 2002, has revealed that he auditioned for Tim Burton’s first Dark Knight film.

I remember saying something stupid to Tim Burton. I told him, “You know, I don’t understand a man who wants to wear underwear over his pants”…

Indeed, Pierce Brosnan has finally joined the DC Universe as he now plays Kent Nelson, aka Dr. Bad, in the upcoming Black Adam film. As for Michael Keaton, after starring in Batman and Batman Challenge, he will return as Bruce Wayne in The Flash, which will be released on June 21.

It will take a lot less time to discover Black Adam with Dwayne Johnson and therefore Pierce Brosnan as the DC movie hits our screens next Wednesday!
