Last August, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said the studio wanted to build on what Marvel had built with its Expanded Universe under the leadership of its big boss, Kevin Feige.
he asked variety To become DC’s King Pin, Dwayne Johnson convinced himself that the best position he could take was as an advisor. “I can help you. I love DC. It’s in my blood.”he noted.
“The idea is to move in the right direction and grow the DC Universe. I’m here to help in any way I can, and that includes finding the right leader, or leaders.”he clarified.
Dwayne Johnson also spoke about his personal history with DC. “When I was little, I grew up loving Super Friends, especially Superman. But when I read my first Black Adam comic, I was blown away! His face was intense. He looked cool, different, badass and dark-skinned. I automatically identified with him. He I’m in DC next!”he explained.
I like the idea that one day we will see it. If the ultimate goal is to have some kind of crossover that can be compelling, smart, cool for fans, then let’s take the temperature with them.

Variety then asked about a possible crossover between Marvel and DC in the future. “I’m naturally optimistic”Nicknamed the Rock replied. “I like the idea that we’ll see that one day. If the ultimate goal is to have some kind of crossover that can be compelling and smart and cool for the fans, then let’s take the temperature with them.”he continued.
“And if the fans like the concept, then let’s do it! That’s how I run my business. I truly believe that anything can happen. Anything can happen with the right people, in the right place, with the right leadership, guidance. The right good conversation.”The Hollywood star was delighted.
In anticipation of a hypothetical reunion between the Marvel superheroes and DC, Dwayne Johnson will show Black Adam on October 19.
