A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, October 14, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Luna insists on deleting the video incriminating Bastien, despite Agathé’s dismay. Luna searches the rooms of Pavel’s room. He finds the computer password, which is nothing but his name, finds the video and deletes it.

Meanwhile, Leo is saved by Claire, who followed him, and punches Pavel’s beast in the neck. They got back into the car together, soon joined by Luna and Agathe.

Mirta and Bastien are relieved to see Luna safe and sound. This confirms to his companion that the video has been deleted and they are now silent. He then asks Leo to thank Agathe for helping her. Mirta is very surprised to learn that Agathe is in Mistral. Leo asks them to shut up.

Meanwhile, Revel wakes up completely naked in the park. He was arrested by the police. At the police station, he admits to Ariane and Jean-Paul that he doesn’t remember anything. He claims to have narcotics. But the police have no information to trace his route as the GPS coordinates of the prosecution car have been deleted. Leo goes to the police station to inform them where Pavel is.

The police accompanied Revel to the scene of the accident. When he sees the living room, he remembers certain episodes of the previous day. When Ariana and Jean-Paul arrive in the main room, she finds Pavel’s body, lifeless, in Lauren’s arms. She claims she killed him to protect herself from…

Killian takes advantage of Fremont’s absence from Mistral to go on a march. Francois informs him that the American detective he hired has a lead, and that a little later he held a video conference with them. Fremon is also invited.

The Mars Clan meet at the Mistral Bar for a video shoot and force Fremont to participate. A would-be U.S. attorney from Fremont admits he’s just an actor hired to create this fake will. Faced with a deed, Fremont kills himself. When Killian admits that he is ready to alert the police, Fremont promises to redeem himself under any circumstances. Killian then asks her to replace it in the dining room and the dishwasher, clean the bar completely, and put the photo of her father back in its place.

Fremont meets all conditions. Adults are having a blast. But Killian notices that Fremont is really putting his own into it. He is also ready to come back the next day. At the police station, Ariane notes that Kevin is showing favoritism to Alexandra because he brought her bubble tea. A little later, Alexandra heard about the pot from a former colleague at Marci. He looks forward to participating. But Kevin explains to her that they are not invited. Alexandra confronts Jean-Paul and makes him believe that she is going to deal with the importance of team unity in the police brigade for the internship report. For this he will need to participate in the bank. Jean-Paul agrees.

However, once there, Alexandra is disappointed by the topics of conversation exchanged by her colleagues. Kevin replies that it’s a job opportunity. Alexandra watches Patrick and Jean-Paul a little further. Making sure that they are talking about work, he approaches them. But their discussion turns to the Auror and Raphael. Alexandra admits that she does not feel much concern.

She gets some air and Kevin joins her. He noticed that he was not comfortable on the subject of children. Alexander confirms this and admits that this is what makes him hesitate to complete his transition. She could have children, but that would be an obstacle. Kevin is compassionate and supportive. Very upset to see her as a potential mother-to-be, Alexandra thanks her. When Kevin kisses her, she blames it on the alcohol they’ve been drinking. Kevin apologizes. Alexandra adds that she prefers him to be sure of himself because he can’t stand being rejected a second time.
