Zorro: Jean Dujardin will play the masked rider in the series!

France Télévisions is currently developing a TV series centered on the iconic Zorro character. According to our colleagues at SatellifactsActor Jean Dujardin will slip into the skin of the masked hero!

So far, very few details have been released about this attractive project. All we know is that the screenplay will be signed by Benjamin Charbit, who we already owe to the TV series Les Sauvages or even the feature films Gagarin and the night will come. The name of the director has not been announced yet.

Reached by Satellifacts, France Télévisions has made no further announcements about the fiction, which is already shaping up to be an event when it airs. An exclusive image of Le Collectif 64’s Jean Dujardin in costume as Diego de la Vega (alter ego in Zorro City) was released by Ecran Total this Wednesday, October 12th.

The photo shows the Oscar-winning actor in profile, dressed in bourgeois Spanish period clothing. This is the mustache typical of the hero created by Johnston McCully in 1919.
