In July 2021, the 6play platform offered its first original fiction titled Or Noir. Created by Anuar El Alame, who directed many rap videos and notably Manuel Laurent, this series explores the lives of the neighborhood’s residents, for better and for worse.
In this way, it sheds light on their daily lives, difficult but not devoid of dreams and hopes, in a story where money makes you lose yourself and where a sense of duty tolerates violations. Driven by young actors, notably Oumar Diaw and Léa Issert, Or Noir is also highlighted by a soundtrack composed by well-known artists from the French rap scene.
A true success, with the first two seasons seen by over 5 million people, it’s no surprise that M6 has commissioned a new burst of episodes, which are now free on 6play.
And for these 10 new episodes, rappers RK, Koba Lad and Franglish are joined by seasoned actors. Adele Bencheriff, seen in The Prophet and War of the Worlds, and Zoe Marshall, who notably starred in SKAM France, have thus joined the cast.
Finally, a featured guest will also make an appearance, as Darko Perić, aka Helsinki in La Casa de Papel, will play the excellent Goran Branković, an international arms dealer who counts Colonel Sekhou, Season 2’s antagonist, among his clients.
In Season 3 of Or Noir, everything falls apart for Mandy, Abdulae, Riyad, Arthur, Ines and others. At the end of a failed heist, everyone is isolated, injured or a prisoner. The police are following them, and already, in the neighborhood, young people are trying to take the place they left behind.
Outside, the world of organized crime seems too wild for them. Will they be able to come together again and free Ines from the clutches of the dangerous Colonel Sekhou? Will they be able to save their skins in the falling storm that they themselves have unleashed?
Find now black gold season 3 free and full on 6play. The first two seasons will air on W9 on Monday 31 October at 11.20pm.
