This is where it all starts: Is Ambre going to join the circle? Secrets of Claire Romain on the plot of the TV series “Mystic”.

AlloCiné: Ambre Came Here It all starts a year ago, at the end of the first season. What is your assessment of the series last year?

Claire Romain : It is quite a positive assessment. There is real evolution at the character level. Amber stepped in to protect her sister, who had a bad experience with Maxime. But he kept his values. He remained quite upright, quite honest. He knew how to protect Deva during the Ark with Simon, for example. I really liked this plot. And I like that very straight side in Amber.

And then, on a more personal level, this is where it all begins, my first daily, and I have to admit, it’s very formative. We learn a lot. Everyone gets along very well. It is really nice to work in this environment. Yes, the balance is positive.

Was the daily shooting rhythm difficult at first?

It was not easy at first, it must be said that there are many texts to study. We often receive up to eight series a day. When you’re used to doing two or three effective minutes a day and you go to fourteen, you have to hang up (laughs).

But again, I find it very formative. We play with many different actors. Directors change once in two weeks, teams rotate. very good. I recommend this experience to all young actors. And even the oldest (laughs).

Amber is polyamorous and, in many ways, represents the modern young woman. Is that something you are proud of as an actor?

completely. She has a very loyal, very determined and above all very free side. In terms of its choice, freedom of expression or even its existence. It’s good that you can present this type of woman on television and especially in a daily newspaper that has a very large audience.

We are talking about polyamory, which is a very modern topic, but which we were not used to hearing yet. I think a lot of people identify with that concept, so that’s great.

How about what’s in store for Amber in the upcoming episodes?

At the beginning of the school year, we played a lot of war between the first and second years, and here we will see more of them intertwined and entering for a common project.

is this a circle

Yes, that’s right. As you can see, Vic discovered the existence of the circle and this intrigue will slowly develop. Ember will also be involved in this story. And we are really going to explore the institution’s past. There are new characters related to this story that will arrive. And what I can also say is that it’s all pretty mystical.

Amber experienced a great love story with Solal. She’s had a brief fling with Tom since then, and we still feel a bit torn between the two, even though they’re on friendly terms these days. How do you feel about it?

I pretty much agree in the sense that her heart is still with the two people she lived with. On the one hand, there was his first real love affair with Solal. And then Tom, with whom it was a little more unclear.

But despite this, I think there will be no backlash. I don’t think Amber will come back either. Today, he established a real friendship with them, and I don’t think that the progress of these relations will be on the level of love.

So no romance on the horizon for Amber?

No, that’s a bit surprising for a polyamory too (laughs). But maybe something with the new characters…

We sensed that Amber wasn’t immune to Livio’s charms when the latter landed in the salt marsh…

Yes, this is the truth. But since then I haven’t had any flirting scenes with Corentin Pelly. So we’ll see. We never know. Everything starts here, it always surprises us. Let’s see what the authors have in store for me.

Ambre has been living with Salome since the beginning of the school year. Will their rivalry continue to be explored?

Since they share with this accomplice, they will calm down more or less. But Salome still holds a bit of resentment for what Amber did to her in the first place. Which is a bit normal (laughs). I think this is something that will remain somewhat permanent without much development by the authors. Obviously, they won’t be best friends tomorrow.

Do you have any wishes for the future of your character in the series?

What I really like and what is very interesting is that he is very free, especially when he talks. He’s often one of the few standing up to Teyssier, like, I’m cool with that. That’s why I want to continue in this register. And maybe he has someone too (laughs). It could not be bad. He has been alone for a long time.

Which actors of the series would you like to work with more?

I traveled with Lucien Bellevue before, who plays Lionel, and he was pretty cool. It has something very natural, very fluid. It’s nice to be his partner, so I’d love to do scenes together again.

Then I still shot with a lot of people: Azize Diabate, Cathy Pakiannathan, Tom Darmon, Benjamin Duba Paris, Axel Dodier, Nicolas Anselmo, Rebecca Benhamour when it was still in the series. And I’m bound to forget some.

But I would say I’d like to do a little more touring with the new ones in Season 3. And with Thomas and Costa, because Ambre and Axel hated each other at one point, so it could be really fun to play that again or see how that plays out.

That’s right, Thomas da Costa is currently participating in Dancing with the stars. Will you support him in this adventure?

Completely, 100%. I went to see him at one of the primes to show him that the whole team here is kicking things off to support him. And frankly, I’m amazed at his level. In fact, we shot a music video together that will be released soon, in which we dance. So we had quite a lot of rehearsals and the level wasn’t really there, let’s face it (laughs). When I saw him doing this tango on the first prime, I was shocked! In ten days, that is, that boy is on top.

Then it’s very intense, they dance 5 hours a day, you have to hang on. Thomas sometimes travels back and forth between Paris and Saint-Laurent-d’Aigues during the day to shoot, this is where it all begins. And between rehearsals, awards, interviews, and series, it’s really super intense.
