A Ryan Murphy series gives way to another Ryan Murphy series on Netflix’s viewer chart: after “Dahmer: An American Cannibal” took the top 10 spot on streaming charts in the past three weeks, now is “Welcome to the Neighborhood”, a horror series also produced by Murphy, which has become the most watched production on Netflix.
“Welcome to the Neighborhood”, or “The Watcher” as the series is known in English, had a great debut on Netflix, occupying the first place in the ranking of the most viewed streams, ousting “Dahmer”. The series accumulates 125 million hours watched after just five days of airing.
The series has seven episodes and is a thriller / horror based on a true story. “Welcome to the Neighborhood” follows a couple and their two children as they move to a new address: 657 Boulevard in West Field, New Jersey.
But the dream house soon turns into a nightmare, when the family begins to receive letters full of threats, signed by someone under the pseudonym “The Vigilante”. With this scary scenario, the couple tries to find out who is sending the letters, but they always end up returning to the beginning of their investigation.
“Welcome to the Neighborhood” stars Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, Jennifer Coolidge, Margo Martindale and Mia Farrow. As with “Dahmer”, Ryan Murphy is a producer on the series along with Ian Brennan.

“Dahmer: An American Cannibal”, meanwhile, is also a huge ratings success. The series is based on the true crimes committed by Jeffrey Dahmer, also known as The Milwaukee Cannibal, who killed 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. The series was released on the 21st and has Evan Peters as the protagonist.
In all, “Dahmer” has already recorded more than 700 million watched hours, and has entered the list of the most viewed productions in Netflix history.
