A great success that gave birth in 2018 to Clovis Kornilak’s closed trilogy Belle and Sebastian 3: The Last Chapter. With more than 6.5 million viewers in France, this trilogy clearly motivated the producers to continue the adventure.

So Sebastien and his mountain dog return from the Pyrenees for a more modern reboot.

In Pierre Corret’s film (Sahara, L’Aventure des Marguerite), Robinson Mensah-Rouane plays a young boy, while Michel Laroque plays his grandmother, Caroline Anglade is his mother, Alice David is his aunt, and Cyrus Shahid is Gazi, Belle’s owner.

Belle and Sebastian: The Next Generation takes the story to the present day and reinvents the characters. Sebastien, a young city dweller who spends a lot of time on his cell phone, is reluctantly sent to live with his grandmother and must adjust to life in the mountains and animals.

• Sirus Shahid, who plays Gazi, decides to take revenge for Belle’s departure and hunts him down to kill him. Then Sebastian takes a big risk to save his friend. Some scenes may impress the youngest.

• During the night scene, wolves attack a flock of sheep belonging to Corinne, Sebastien’s grandmother. To protect his friend, Belle fights back.
