Some doubts from fans about “The Simpsons” have already been resolved, such as how much Homer earns at the nuclear plant or what the phrase “speak louder, I have a towel” means. but now the series will reveal what the characters look like in anime style.
The animated series created each year by Matt Groening has a Halloween special that breaks with continuity and features horror stories starring the residents of Springfield.
These chapters of “La casita del horror” parodies movies, stories or famous stories of fear and horror. For the 34th season it will not be the exception and “The Babadook”, “Westworld” and “Death Note” will be parodied.
What’s impressive is that the segment dedicated to the anime ‘Death Note’ will be presented in the signature design style of Japanese animation, transforming the Simpson family into anime characters.
“Death Note” is an anime released in 2006 based on the famous manga by Japanese authors Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, which tells the story of a student who finds a notebook belonging to Ryuk, a god of death.

‘The Simpsons’ Becomes ‘Death Note’ Anime Parody
In “The Simpsons: Little house of horror XXXIII” the second part will be a parody of “Death Note” and thanks to a first look you can see how the family will look in the art style of the anime.
The images and clip that surfaced online show Homer, Marge, and Lisa as anime characters and living in a Japan-like version of Springfield. Besides Bart seems to be the demon Ryuk.
The parody is called “Death Tome” and you can see that Lisa has this notebook which, like in the manga and anime, has the feature that if its owner writes someone’s name on it while thinking of their face, that person dies.
The segment is shown in high quality and with very well-designed anime-style drawings, because it was created by DR Movie, a South Korean studio that has experience with the animation of ‘Death Note’.
Check out the video below for part of the “Death Note” parody and what Lisa Simpson looks like in her anime version as she walks the streets of Springfield and when the Death Tome falls from the sky into her hands.
