Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett are confirmed in the sequel to the production of Disney+
The recording of the final season of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” came to an end this Wednesday, 13. The creator of the production Tim Federle broke the news by replying story of the actor Matt Cornett.
Cornett posted a photo of an ice cream with a food truck in the background. Then the showrunner reposted with the caption: [quando tem] “ice cream means it has reached the end” and put crying emojis.
For our happiness, Joshua Bassett and Olivia Rodrigo are confirmed in the sequel, as well as Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Julia Lester, Dara Renee, Frankie Rodrigueze and Kate Reinders. Participation more than special stays with Corbin Bleuknown as Chad in the original film. Jason Earlesknown for “Hannah Montana” will also make a cameo.
Songs from “Frozen”, “Camp Rock” and the “HSM” franchise will be featured in the series in the voices of the actors.
Finally, it is worth remembering that the 3rd season does not yet have a set premiere date, however it should arrive on Disney+ in 2022.

During a recent interview for the “Zach Sang Show”, the actor and singer Joshua Bassett revealed if he’s nervous to return to filming the third season of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”.
The question came up because we know that Olivia Rodrigo will be back for the continuation of the Disney+ series. Plus, we already know all the drama involving both of them, with “SOUR” being about Bassett and him reportedly answering Rodrigo in new music.
“I’m not nervous” began Joshua Bassett. “I am very excited. I think we’ve got a really, really amazing season lined up, and I think, you know, it’s going to be a really blast. I think we’ve got a lot of episodes really lined up, and it’s going to be, I think, the funniest yet, in terms of writing and morals and all that stuff. I’m excited”.
