‘The Simpsons’ and its special chapter with Billie Eilish

The multiple Grammy winner and recent Oscar winner for Best Original Song joins the yellow family.

Billie Eilish may have won five Grammys with her first album, she may have even won an Oscar for the original song for ‘No Time to Die’ and, at 20, she’s already been called the musical voice of her generation for five. Yes, all of this is very good, but it is already known that you are nobody if you do not appear in ‘The Simpsons’.

Billie Eilish will have that honor, which really confirms her fame, this April. Yes, we admit that in recent seasons the yellow family series has lost much of the attention it enjoyed a decade ago, but it is still the most iconic series in the world, the Pokémon of the West, the drawings that your grandmother, the family of families.

The special will premiere on Disney +, where Billie Eilish has the documentary ‘Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles’, will premiere next Friday, April 22. In it we will see how Lisa Simpson is discovered by Eilish and her inseparable brother Finneas while she “looks for a quiet place to practice her saxophone”, which leads to Eilish inviting Lisa to her study for a jam-session that the young woman will never forget. Let us remember that, although Billie Eilish was not born when Lisa Simpson was born, Lisa continues to have her eternal eight years in the series, so, logically, the 20-year-old singer is an idol.

Of course, this cameo will not only be animated, but Billie Eilish and Finneas themselves will be able to voice their characters, as is usual in the famous cameos of the fiction created by Matt Groening.

‘The Simpsons’ with Billie Eilish will be available from April 22 on Disney + Spain.
