The elite loses a new symbol! One of the actors in the Netflix TV series has just announced his departure after five seasons: Omar Ayuso, who plays Omar, posted a farewell message on his Instagram. This announcement surprises fans because in the last episodes of the fifth season, which is available on the platform from April 8, there is nothing to suggest that his character was going to leave.
And yet, his translator made the decision well, without emotion, as he points out in his post:
“After the launch week, I could not help but share these two pictures: the first and last shots, which was the most important emotional journey of my life so far. In one photo is one child who is excited and worried. And on the other hand, this child is more excited and worried. Than from the beginning.
Elite, we owe you so much that I think the best thing is to leave you alone. Thanks to all the people who shook my hand at the beginning of this strange adventure, which is mine, in which, hopefully, we will meet each other several times. Thanks to Omar for giving me so many lives and challenges. “Oh, it must continue!”
Even if this statement is surprising, we understand the decision of Omar Ayuso, who had less important intrigues for some time, and in particular the separation of his character from Ander. In Season 5, he mainly interacted with one of the newcomers, the Frenchman Adam Nuru, the translator of a young refugee in distress, Bilal.
First of all, the possible death of his best friend Samuel (Itzan Eskamila) in the last episode of Season 5 leaves him free to start from this mourning and the horrible events that always happen in Las Encinas High School.
The departure of Omar Ayuso was followed by another wave of departures of famous actors and actresses from the Netflix series from the 3rd season onwards, including Miguel Bernardo (Guzman), Aaron Piper (Ander), Alvaro Rico (Polo), Mina El Haman (Nadia) Esther Exposito (Carla), Dana Paola (Lou) or even Jorge Lopez (Valerio).
