Danny Boone showed off his new comedy Life cast. The actor, screenwriter and director will find his loyal accomplice Kad Merad, but also a famous actor with whom he played under the direction of Ivan Atal.
Danny Boone is ready to shoot his 8th feature film as a director and screenwriter. From May 16, he will hand over the first clapperboard for La vie pour de vrai.
For this occasion he will find his faithful accomplice, Kad Merad (Supercondriaque, Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis). The cast will also include Charlotte Gainsburg, with whom Danny Boone previously starred in the sketch film They Are Everywhere, by Ivan Atal.
As usual, Danny Boone will also play in the film. The story for this new comedy unfolds against the backdrop of Club Med, at least for its starting point.
The pitch is as follows: Tridan Lagache (Danny Boone) was born and lived all his life in Club Med, Mexico. At the age of 50, he decides to leave his life environment for the first time to find Violetta (Charlotte Gainsburg), his childhood sweetheart, and discover life in reality.
In Paris he is far from the obstacles and dangers that await him in the search for truth and happiness, including the unexpected meeting of Louis (Cad Merad), his older half-brother whom he did not know and who will do nothing. Get rid of it.
Filming will take place in Italy, Belgium and France. Life for Real produces Pathé, 26 DB Productions and Artemis Productions. Estimated release in the spring of 2023.
