Boris and Muriel are taken to the police station
It’s been a few days since Manu moved in with Alex. As the situation is difficult for him, his friend urges him to be patient. Indeed, Eve chose to grieve alone, and he must respect her choice. Very quickly, the discussion turns to investigation. Alex then makes the mistake of revealing that Elliot was going to kidnap his son. So the police wonder if Muriel could be connected to Elliott’s death.
Alex then meets with Judge Laplace and tells him about his suspicions about Muriel. “Unable to see her son disappear to the other side of the world, she decides to kill her ex-partner and make her passport disappear. Which explains why the child’s forged documents were not found at the crime scene– he explains. Muriel has a serious motive, the judge allows the police to analyze her fadettes. He also asks not to neglect the way of settling accounts.
Meanwhile, Eva returns to school. However, he feels sluggish because he took sleeping pills the day before. To avoid talking, his colleagues advise him to show the film to his students.
In L. Cosmétiques, Bertier offers his condolences to Muriel. The accountant then asks for news about Boris, who has found him especially needy lately. Although she leads him to believe that his companion is to blame for this, he is especially worried.
Not far from there, Eve gets a call from Alex asking her to go to the police station. Once there he asked if he had talked to his son about going to Africa and if he had contacts there. When she asks why he’s asking her all the questions, Alex is evasive. Eva meets Manu while leaving the police station. The opportunity policeman told his partner that the distance became unbearable for him. Despite everything, Eve is not ready to return to his life.
At nightfall, Alex informs Alice that tracking Muriel’s phone proves she was near Elliot’s hideout at the time of his death. The police then go to Boris and Muriel’s house and place them both in police custody as part of the investigation into Elliot’s murder…
Emma helps her mother
Emma’s car is destined for scrap. So Lucas offers to dip into their savings to buy a new one, which he eventually accepts.
In turn, Alix comes across a photo of Lucas. Upset, he goes to the hut and asks Emma for news. The latter then told him that the young man had started working as a warehouse worker at L. Cosmétiques. If she’s happy to hear that, Alix wonders if she’ll ever forgive him for what he’s done. “I understand, but I’d rather be honest with you, I’m not sure that’s going to happen“, he said.
Meanwhile, Enrique tells Lucas the good news. In fact, the latter decided to hire him permanently before the end of the trial period. Happy, the young man thanks him.
A few steps away, the bailiff arrives at Natalie’s house. Emma’s mother hasn’t paid her rent in a year and is in danger of eviction because she can’t pay her debt. So Emma writes a check for €2,000, which matches her savings, to pay off some of the debt.
Once alone, Natalie confides in her daughter that despite dozens of interviews, she can’t find a job. It’s just a bad patch for Emma, but Natalie isn’t so sure. Still, Emma promises that she won’t give up.
Back home, Emma tells Lucas that she was forced to hand over their savings to her mother. Hearing it, Lucas tells him that he was right to do so.
