The Koo social network is one of the leading alternatives to Twitter🇧🇷 Created in India, it also functions as a microblogging platform, with options to like, comment and share publications, follow people and follow trending topics.

1. How to post on Koo
Each post on Koo is limited to 500 characters. In addition, your post can be integrated with photos, videos or a survey: another great advantage of the social network is the ability to insert up to 10 images per post.
Open the app and tap the “+” icon. Then write your text and tap the respective icons to add photos, videos, links or polls. Finally, tap “Publish”.
2. How to schedule publication on Koo
It is also possible to schedule your publications on the social network. In the crafting field, tap the clock icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Then select “Scheduled Koos” and choose a date and time to submit your post.
3. How to interact with a post on Koo
You can interact with each social networking post in three different ways. You can like, comment or share the status. If you opted to Re-Koo, similar to a retweet on Twitter, you can still add an additional comment.
4. How to change the language in Koo
The app has a Portuguese version, but you can quickly switch the language. Follow these steps:
- Tap your photo to open your profile and tap the three dots icon in the top right corner of the screen;
- Then tap “Settings”;
- Press the “Language” option;
- Choose from the available options to apply the change.
5. How to use Koo’s feed
On the home screen of the application you can find your personalized feed, divided into three tabs. The first shows all the publications of the profiles and people you follow, while the “People” tab shows the suggested accounts to follow. Finally, the “New” tab displays random profile posts on the network.
Also, the hashtag icon in the application lets you check out the trending topics on the platform. Tap one of the hashtags to see related posts.
6. How to Send Direct Messages on Koo
After following friends on the social network, it is also possible to chat via direct messages. Tap the mail icon in the app menu to access your chat list. To start a new chat, type the contact’s username in the search and open the message field.
There is also the option to disable direct messages on the platform. To do this, open the conversation list, tap the gear icon and uncheck the corresponding function.
