Alex is obliged to cooperate with Gael
Christoph goes to the hiding place to investigate Pauline. If he recovers well, his blood pressure is still very low. The veterinarian therefore advises him to exercise caution with doping agents and specifies that he risks death if he does not reduce his intake.
Alex, meanwhile, is summoned to the commissioner’s office, where Cecil tells him that Gael has infiltrated as part of an investigation into fake buyers. However, he agrees to cooperate only on the condition that Alex be his ally on the ground. While there is no enthusiasm for this idea, the police officer is forced to take on this confidential mission.
To prevent the infiltration from being compromised, Judge Alfand asks Becker to immediately stop searching for the two fugitives. Without expectation, the commissioner orders his teams to stop hunting Paulina and Gael and forces them to believe they have been spotted in Spain. As a result, the case no longer falls under their jurisdiction. Annoyed, Manu returns to his office and informs Alex that their case is being dismissed. Uncomfortable, the latter advises him to obey the orders of the chief.
In the evening, Alex meets Gael at the meeting place. When he tries to find out why he demanded her to be in the field, the young woman replies that she only trusts him. To prove that he is not playing a double game, Gael gives him a physical description of Pauline’s accomplices as well as their hiding place. However, because he is constantly watched and Mathieu is a dangerous man who will not hesitate to kill him, Gael refuses to wear a microphone.
When Gael returns to the hiding place, Pauline is waiting for him with a gun in his hand …
